Our trip planner at this tour company was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, and
planned a life-changing trip for us. His recommendations for both Cape Town and our safari were spot
on. We were also so grateful that he was reachable and responsive via Whats App during planning and
the trip itself. We’d happily plan another trip with our trip planner and would recommend this tour
company to friends and family.

We planned this trip for 5 weeks and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. Our travel specialist and the
company were a pleasure to work with and they really planned perfectly according to our discussions
about what we liked when it comes to travel. Our travel specialists were very accessible and very
communicative at all times.
I’m so glad we picked this company and would certainly use them again for travel. I like that they are
more personalized compared to larger companies where you are just a number. The whole trip was
seamless with transfers and travel between countries.

My husband and I were desperate to get away and relax! After speaking to Mark, we decided that a
self-drive tour around the Cape would be the best option, as we could get a good mix of relaxing down
time in comfortable accommodation whilst still getting out and about to see the sights! His suggested
routes were perfect – giving us a great variety in terms of little towns to explore and wine farms and
restaurants to sample – and also never driving too far. His accommodation picks were also always
spot on – spacious places that always had a verandah and beautiful views to enjoy some chilled “at
home” time together. We ended the trip in Cape Town, and as we had been there before, he did a
great job of suggesting great sundowner spots, restaurants and activities that were different to what
we had previously experienced.

We recently spent 10 days touring the Cape Winelands with some friends on a trip organized by
Satori. From our initial correspondence with Mark he was great – super responsive and eager to find
out exactly what we wanted to get out of the trip, so he could tailor make our itinerary and
recommend the best possible accommodation options and restaurants / wine farms to visit. He even
arranged for a private yoga class for me on the Cape Town seafront which was a real highlight. We
particularly loved how he recommended places “off the beaten track”, to give us a really authentic
taste of what the region has to offer.

It has been an extremely pleasant experience to work with Mark. Mark is very knowledgeable about
South Africa and tourists from different countries. He understands the customers so well that he is
able to offer valuable recommendations and also customize trip itinerary. Mark is also very detailed
oriented and super responsive. If we have any questions or problems, Mark is always there to help.
Besides, Mark is very down-to-earth and fun to talk to. If any of my friends would come and visit
Africa, I would highly recommend Mark and Satori Africa.

the service itself was fantastic. Mark Bland, the owner of Satori Africa is passionate about ensuring
each of his clients is treated to a memorable experience and made the extra effort to be available on
email and phone for any questions we had. He also greeted our touring group personally on our first

Mark really went the extra mile for us to ensure our safari was the best experience possible. He gave
us expert guidance on the different safari options available to help plan the trip, and stayed closely
involved to make sure unexpected hiccups along the way (such as flight delays and weather
conditions) didn’t negatively impact the experience. Mark’s hard work and quick thinking really made a
difference – and we truly appreciate it!

The company organised a perfect private round-trip for us in South-Africa and Mauritius. We have
been corresponding for many months during the planning and they were always very patient to serve
us, responded immediately and finally put together a wonderful itinerary. We had some special
requirements regarding the accommodation and activities we wanted to do and they could serve our
requirements above expectations. Everything was working absolutely smoothly – transfers, hotels,
guides, activities – and the company was always reachable in case there was any question. We never felt left alone.

Our safari trip was planned beautifully. There is nothing we would have changed…it was heaven on
Earth. Satori took the pain out of planning even the minute details such as booking air flights,
transportation to and from the airport, and all the extra curricular activities at the lodge. We legit did
not have to think or stress about anything. Thanks to Satori, it was a stress-free, relaxing, and
unworldly experience! We will be going back every year and, of course, booking through Satori every
time!

We met Mark by chance and he organised a great safari and wine experience for us that made our last
few days in Cape Town truly memorable. He was also super helpful and indulging when there was a
problem with our credit card payment. Hope to be back soon!

Mark and the group at Satori travel helped us with our trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and The
Maldives. They really listened to what we wanted out of the trip and found places that met our goals.
Mark and/or Agatha were always available by email or phone. They always answered our questions
quickly and thoroughly. We were especially grateful for their expertise and help, when two weeks
before the trip TAAG airlines cancelled one of our flights without notice. This meant we had to make
some major changes to the end of the trip very quickly. Mark worked with us throughout this whole
process and put our minds at ease and provided some great alternatives.
As for the trip itself, it exceeded all our expectations. We have such a love and appreciation for this
part of Africa. From the incredible wildlife, to Victoria Falls, and the starry night skies, it was
indescribable.

The overall trip was amazing and such a memorable experience. From the wild safari to the Winelands
and Cape Town, the service, food, accommodation was immaculate and exceptional. The safari guide,
Monika at Kapama Buffalo Camp was not only knowledgeable but patient and passionate about her job
which translate to such a great experience for us. The accommodation was superb, it exceeded our
expectation in terms of spaciousness, cosiness and luxury. Food was great as the menu changes every
day. We get to see all the Big 5 as our guide was persistent to ensure that we spotted all the animals
that we wanted to see. When we arrived at Cape Town, we went straight to Franschhoek and the Villa
that was prepared for us was beautiful. Special mention to our guide Dion whose knowledge of
history, wine and food is impressive. Again, the professionalism of the guide shines through as we
travel and ate and drank our way round the Cape. We were shown the diverse food and wine culture
of each region. The whole 10 days flew by so fast and makes us crave for more. Only one word to sum
up the whole experience. MINDBLOWING!
