After a brief introduction to sustainable foraging it is time to gather your ingredients, find a kitchen (who knows where this might be – a picnic under the trees, a campfire by the beach or a rustic garden) and prepare a feast with the foraged ingredients over botanical drinks and refreshing fynbos tea. The hunting grounds include Cape Point, to hunt for flavour in the Fynbos, a coastal forage at Scarborough beach or gather mushrooms in one of the Mother City’s beautiful forests.
